The hero that Milwaukee wants, nay, the hero that Milwaukee needs, is home run-hitting, beer-chugging Christian Yelich. And if he says the old school uniforms the Brewers are wearing is cool, well, then they’re cool. That’s how social media works, right? One thing that’s definitely cool is supporting other sports teams in your city, and Kolten Wong and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. are on board with that in St. Louis and Toronto, respectively. And winning is cool. Winning is always cool. Just ask the Dodgers, MLB’s first 40-win team, or the Rockies, the hottest team in baseball.
Christian Yelich has 22 home runs, so if he didn’t like the throwback uniforms, they’d probably be changed. Good thing he does.
Kolten Wong showed his support for the Blues before the first Stanley Cup Final game in St. Louis in 49 years. (It didn’t work out too well, but there’s always Game 4.)
The support Blue Jays rookie Vladimir Guerrero Jr. showed for the Raptors worked out a little better.
While baseball obsession has switched between the Twins, Rays, Phillies, Brewers and other hot teams, the Dodgers have quietly gone on winning. Suddenly, they’re 40-19.

Preventing the NL West from becoming a complete runaway are the Rockies, who have won seven straight and are at least within shouting distance of Los Angeles.
