The Canisius Golden Griffins will be at Yanitelli Center to face the Saint Peter’s Peacocks in a Metro Atlantic Athletic matchup. Action begins at 3:00 pm ET on Sunday, Feb. 14.
The Peacocks beat Niagara 72-59 on Friday. With 24 points and 11 rebounds, Quadir Welton recorded his seventh double-double of the season. The Golden Griffins are coming off an ugly 90-67 loss to Siena on Thursday. Kassius Robertson had a good shooting night, leading the team with 19 points.
Welton has taken his game to another level over the last five games for the Peacocks. During that stretch, he has averaged 17.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.4 blocks.
