CFL Betting: The British Columbia Lions are favored at home on Saturday against the Montreal Alouettes in a matchup of 1-2 teams. These two teams met a couple of weeks ago in Montreal and it was the Alouettes winning big. It might be a different story in Vancouver as the Alouettes rarely win on the road against the Lions. Let’s look at the matchup and CFL predictions.
CFL Odds
British Columbia Lions -7, total 49.5
Lions Finally Look Good
It took three games but British Columbia finally looked the part of preseason Grey Cup favorites as they routed the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Regina last week. Kevin Glenn managed the game well and running back Andrew Harris had a big game. “I think the confidence is building with our offensive line and we were embarrassed last week (in Montreal) and so we really came back with a vengeance tonight,” said Harris, “We have to build off of this now and take this confidence and go forward with it.” Glenn threw for just 170 yards and one touchdown but he didn’t turn the ball over after throwing six interceptions in the first two games.
Alouettes Road Kill Again?
Montreal has looked pretty good at home with a win and a loss and they probably should be 2-0 at home but they gave away a win last week to Winnipeg. It was another story on the road in the opener as they were routed in Calgary. Now the team has to go to British Columbia where they almost always struggle.
