CFL Picks: The Winnipeg Blue Bombers visit the Edmonton Eskimos in one of the four games in Week 16. The week’s action begins on Friday as Hamilton visits Toronto. There is one game on Saturday as Ottawa visits British Columbia and there are two games on Monday with Edmonton at Hamilton and Saskatchewan at Montreal. Let’s look at all four games and CFL predictions.
CFL Week 16
–Friday, October 10th–
Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Toronto Argonauts
This game could be ugly as they played about a month ago and it was the Tiger-Cats winning 13-12. Each team is playing much better now but the offensive edge is still with Toronto. They have scored 60 more points than Hamilton this season. The Tiger-Cats are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games overall while the Argonauts are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 home games. We’ll go under the total in this one.
–Saturday, October 11th–
Ottawa RedBlacks at British Columbia Lions
The RedBlacks finally came through with a big win last week as they routed Winnipeg. BC has dropped three straight and they simply can’t afford to lose this one. The RedBlacks are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games. The Under is 5-2 in the RedBlacks last 7 games overall. The Under is 6-2 in the Lions last 8 home games. We’ll take this one over the total.
–Monday, October 13th–
Saskatchewan Roughriders at Montreal Alouettes
The Alouettes are coming off a bye so they should have the edge. The Roughriders are simply not that good on offense with Sunseri at quarterback. The Roughriders are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Alouettes are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a bye week. The Under is 4-1 in the Roughriders last 5 road games. The Under is 13-4 in the Alouettes last 17 games overall. 15 of the last 16 in this series at Montreal have gone under. We’ll go under the total in this one.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Edmonton Eskimos
These teams met back in mid-July and the Eskimos won 26-3. This might be a similar result on Monday. Drew Willy will need a big game to keep Winnipeg close in this one. The Blue Bombers are 7-19-1 ATS in their last 27 vs. the West. The Eskimos are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Under is 43-21-1 in the Blue Bombers last 65 road games. The Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Edmonton. We’ll back the Eskimos and the under.
