CFL Predictions: Week 7 action including Hamilton Tiger-Cats at British Columbia Lions

CFL Betting:  The Hamilton Tiger-Cats visit the British Columbia Lions in one of the four games in Week 7 CFL action.  The Tiger-Cats are just 1-4 on the season but because they play in the East they are just a half game out of first place.  The Lions have the better record at 3-3 but because they play in the West they are two games out of first place.  The Lions are laying a touchdown at home in this game on Friday.  Here is a look at all four games for Week 7 and CFL predictions.

Thursday, August 7th

Saskatchewan at Winnipeg (pick, total 53.5)

This is a huge test for the Blue Bombers as they host the defending champs.  It won’t be easy as the Roughriders have experience playing in big games and they have turned the corner since starting the season slowly.  We’ll look for Saskatchewan to get the road win.

Friday, August 8th

Edmonton at Montreal (Eskimos -4.5, total 46)

The Eskimos had a bye last week and they should be ready to go against a Montreal team that is really struggling. The Alouettes have no one at quarterback as Troy Smith, Alex Brink and Tanner Marsh do not look like the answer. Let’s go with the Eskimos minus the points in this one and the game to go under the total.

Hamilton at British Columbia (Lions -7, total 49.5)

The Lions have been completely inconsistent as they have two wins, then two loses and now a win.  The Tiger-Cats have finally figured out that their best option at quarterback could be Dan Lefevour.  The Tiger-Cats have been really good on the road lately, covering 9 of their last 12 games.  7 of their last 9 road games have gone under. The Tiger-Cats are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings at BC. This line seems really high so we’ll look for the road team to cover.

Saturday, August 9th

Ottawa at Calgary (Stampeders -13, total 46.5)

This is a big number but the RedBlacks haven’t played well of late. They were blown out last week by the Roughriders and if they make mistakes this week they will get blown out again.
