Chicago Blackhawks at Winnipeg Jets Game Preview 4/7/18

Bell MTS Place will play host to a Central Division matchup as the Winnipeg Jets welcome the visiting Chicago Blackhawks. It’s the fifth and last time that the two clubs will go at it in the regular season. The opening face-off takes place at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 7, and you can watch it live on Sportsnet.

Winnipeg (-235) is currently the favorite over Chicago (+195), and the Over/Under (O/U) has been set at an even 6 goals (-125 over, +105 under).

Winnipeg is 51-30 straight up (SU) and has netted 15.9 units for moneyline bettors this year. That winning percentage, ranked third in the NHL in this young season, is a welcome improvement over the 40-42 record from last year’s regular season campaign. Anton Forsberg (23.9 saves per game) has been the primary choice in goal for Chicago. Forsberg has 11 wins, 24 losses, and four overtime losses to his credit, while registering a .908 save percentage and 2.97 goals against average this year.

Patrick Kane (27 goals, 48 assists) has been one of the top facilitators on offense for the visiting Blackhawks.
