It didn’t take long for LeSean McCoy to find a suitor. The former two-time All Pro running back will reunite with his former coach, Andy Reid, after signing a one-year, $4 million deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The contract comes with $3 Million in guaranteed cash.

McCoy apparently had multiple AFC West suitors after getting jettisoned by the Buffalo Bills this morning. The Los Angeles Chargers were seriously in the mix in an effort to add his services.
Reid, of course, was the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles when they drafted McCoy in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft out of Pittsburgh. Shady McCoy’s stay in Philly lasted just one season after Reid was ousted in favor of NFL coaching bust Chip Kelly. He was traded to the Buffalo Bills in 2015.
LeSean McCoy was going to wind up in the AFC West one way or another; the other teams that pursued McCoy was the LA Chargers, per source.

McCoy is entering his 11th season in the league and is 394 yards away from 11,000 yards in his career. He’s rushed for 69 total touchdowns and a career average 4.5 yards per carry.
