Indeed, if Patrick Mahomes plays on Sunday; I will believe in miracles being possible through this kid. Remember, the star quarterback displaced his kneecap on Thursday Night Football against the Denver Broncos. Then, an MRI revealed positive news.
Still, it was reported his recovery timetable would be three or four weeks minimum. However, now Adam Schefter is reporting something big in the NFL world. Without question, this is great news for all NFL fans.
Less than one week after he dislocated his kneecap, Chiefs’ QB Patrick Mahomes is back at today.

Schefter says that Mahomes is at practice for the Chiefs today. While it certainly doesn’t mean he will be under center on Sunday night, it leaves the possibility open.
Obviously, more will be known about the status of the star signal caller after practice on Wednesday. Equally important, the Chiefs play the Green Bay Packers at Arrowhead on Sunday Night Football in week 8.
Therefore, one of the marquee match-ups in all of 2019 awaits. Surely, the Chiefs would love to have Mahomes, but they don’t care about television ratings. Unfortunately for fans like me, it’s unlikely we see Mahomes against Aaron Rodgers if I am a betting man.
Thus far in 2019, Mahomes is off to a similar start to his MVP campaign of 2018. In seven games, he has 15 touchdowns to just one interception. Additionally, he’s upped his average yards per attempt to 10.1 and has a completion percentage of 65 percent.
Finally, I’m not a Kansas City Chiefs fan. But Patrick Mahomes is so good – he’s probably my favorite NFL player. Watching him reminds me of being a kid again, because with every snap with the ball in his hands; all things are possible.
Now, if he can return a week later after a devastating injury; I’ll believe all things are possible in general in regards to this young superstar.
