Cleveland Indians – Chicago White Sox Preview – 09.12.2016

In the first of a four-game series between the Chicago White Sox (68-74) and the Cleveland Indians (83-59) at U.S. Cellular Field, Miguel Gonzalez (3-6, 3.81 ERA) and Carlos Carrasco (11-7, 3.15 ERA) get the ball. The game starts at 8:10 p.m. ET on Monday, Sep. 12 and will air on STOh and WGN.

In his last start, Gonzalez pitched 6.1 innings, giving up zero runs and striking out four in a 2-0 victory over the Tigers. The Indians were also victorious the last time Carrasco pitched. He did not do well, pitching 7.1 innings, allowing four runs, striking out five and walking one in a 6-5 victory over the Astros. Carlos Santana (.244, 76 Rs, 31 HRs, 74 RBIs, 5 SBs) has been hitting the ball well, going 2 for 4 yesterday with one run, one home run, and three RBIs.
