Smith (63 rushing yards on 16 attempts) and the signal-caller Barker (50 yards on 15 carries, two TDs) led the running game while Sidney Davis (six receptions, 78 yards, one TD) and Deondre Douglas (five catches, 67 yards) led the pass-catching corps in the win.
Coastal Carolina’s run the ball on 72.2 percent of its offensive possessions this year while Troy has an overall rush percentage of 55.2 percent.
