The Duke Blue Devils faced as daunting a two-game stretch as maybe anyone will see during the regular season. Mike Krzyzewski’s young team failed its first test infront of a hostile Notre Dame crowd in South Bend, Ind. However, the Blue Devils followed that up with an impressive win at Virginia, giving the ACC-leading Cavaliers their first loss on the season.

Later in the week, Notre Dame turned around after their win over Duke and lost 76-72 at Pittsburgh. Elsewhere in the ACC, Miami was upset by rival Florida State at home. The Hurricanes, who now stand at 14-7, have not been able to get off the bubble teams list thanks to two straight losses, including dropping a game earlier in the week against lowly Georgia Tech.

Out west, one of the Pac-12 giants, Utah, went down to one of it’s underwhelming teams in UCLA. The Bruins have turned things around as of late with back-to-back home wins against the Utes and the Colorado Buffaloes.
In the A-10, Richmond knocked off the conference’s best team, VCU. The Rams have stumbled when facing some of the nation’s best – like Virginia and Villanova – but they now have their first loss in conference.
