Andrew Clair (37 rushing yards on 16 attempts) led the running attack in the loss. RB Marlow III (seven receptions, 60 yards, one TD) and Deric Phouthavong (six catches, 48 yards) handled the receiving duties.
One game ago, Clemson knocked off this Georgia Tech crew by a score of 49-21. The Yellow Jackets defensive unit let the Tigers rush for 248 yards on 36 attempts, including two rush TDs. Travis Etienne put up a productive showing in the win for Clemson, recording 122 rushing yards and a score on 11 attempts, along with three yards on one catch. For Georgia Tech, TaQuon Marshall completed one-of-six passes for 29 yards. Marshall (47 rushing yards on 25 attempts, one TD) and Jerry Howard (18 yards on 10 carries) mounted the ground game in the defeat while Clinton Lynch (three receptions, 57 yards, one TD) led the pass-catching attack.
Bowling Green has run the ball on 49.4 percent of its offensive possessions this year while Georgia Tech has an overall rush percentage of 79.1 percent. The Falcons have produced 92 rush yards per game and have two scores via handoffs this year. The Yellow Jackets are putting up 331 rush yards per game and have 13 total rushing TDs.

TaQuon Marshall has managed to complete 19-of-42 passes for 316 yards, two TDs and three INTs for Georgia Tech. His ANY/A stands at a terrible 3.98 for the season and 0.72 over his last two games.
We expect the Yellow Jackets to control tempo by feeding their ball-carriers early and often. In addition to TaQuon Marshall (zero receiving yards this season), Jordan Mason (210 rush yards, one rush TD) and Jerry Howard (26 rush yards) have been significant focal points in the Yellow Jackets’ recent offensive strategies.
