Tulane just suffered a brutal 49-6 loss to Ohio State. Jonathan Banks completed eight-of-14 passes for 141 yards. Banks (14 rushing yards on 12 attempts) handled the running game as Darnell Mooney (four receptions, 77 yards) and Terren Encalade (four catches, 62 yards) led the pass-catching corps in the loss.
Memphis has run the ball on 55.7 percent of its offensive possessions this year while Tulane has an overall rush percentage of 63.5 percent. The Tigers have produced 310 rush yards per game and have 14 scores on the ground this year. The Green Wave are averaging 175 rush yards per game and have seven total rushing TDs.
If the numbers so far this season are any indication, then it appears the Tigers should own an advantage when it comes to RB efficiency, as their running backs has generated 8.1 yards per carry while their defense is allowing 3.4 YPC to opponents. The Green Wave have ran for 4.2 yards per carry and given up a YPC of 4.3 to opponents.
