Georgia State most-recently fell 59-22 to Memphis. The team’s defense allowed the Tigers to eat up the clock by running for 410 yards on 35 rush attempts, including three rush TDs. Darrell Henderson shredded the defense, putting up 233 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 14 attempts for Memphis. As a group, the Panthers collectively completed 19-of-34 passes for 139 yards and one interception. Dan Ellington went 15-for-26 for 107 yards and one interception while Aaron Winchester was two-of-five for 18 yards. Destin Coates (68 yards on 12 rush attempts) spearheaded the ground game in the defeat while Cornelius McCoy (five receptions, 43 yards) and Penny Hart (four catches, 35 yards) led the receiving corps.

Western Michigan has run the ball on 51.4 percent of its offensive possessions this year while Georgia State has a rush percentage of 53.8 percent. The Broncos have run for 202 yards/game and have seven touchdowns via handoffs this year. The Panthers are totaling 136 rushing yards per game and have three total rush TDs.
