Decisions have been made in Clemson and two-year starter Kelly Bryant is out and looking for a new place to call home while Trevor Lawrence is now leading the Tigers.
This move caught the attention of the oddsmakers as it made a big move for Clemson’s game against Syracuse on Saturday.
Let’s take a look college football’s biggest spread and total movements this week.
Syracuse at Clemson, Noon ABC
Open: -21 Clemson
Current: -25.5 Clemson
The oddsmakers sure do like Trevor Lawrence and so do Clemson fans.

The Tigers -21 spread jumped 4.5 points after the Lawrence announcement and also don’t forget the Orange upset Clemson last season, so don’t count on the Tigers overlooking Syracuse this year.
Arkansas at Texas A&M, Noon ESPN
Open: -17 A&M
Current: -21 A&M
Things aren’t great in Arkansas right now. The Razorbacks are 1-3 and in the last week, two players — including last season’s leading receiver Jonathan Nance — have announced transfers. Texas A&M is coming in looking to prove it truly is a force in the SEC, because somehow taking Clemson to the wire in Week 2 wasn’t enough for the Aggies.
Western Michigan at Miami (Oh), 3:30 p.m.
Open: -3 Miami
Current: -1 WMU
Miami is coming off its first win of the season as it beat MAC East rival Bowling Green, 38-23. Oddsmakers gave the RedHawks a slight home field advantage to open, but perhaps realized Western Michigan isn’t a pushover after it beat Georgia State, 34-15, crushed Delaware State, 68-0, and put 42 points up on Syracuse.
Utah at Washington State, 6 p.m. Pac-12
Open: -2 Wazzu
Current: -1.5 Utah
Here is the head scratcher of the week. Perhaps the oddsmakers really don’t like USC, so a 39-36 loss in LA for Washington State isn’t as good of a look as many might think. What makes this odd is Utah hasn’t done anything to impress after losing 21-7 at home to Washington and narrowly beating Northern Illinois 17-6. Good chance here to go with the underdog.
Marshall at Western Kentucky, 7:30 p.m.
Open: -8 Marshall
Current: -4.5 Marshall
Besides a Week 1 loss to Wisconsin, Western Kentucky has kept every game close, whether that means playing up or down to its competition. The Hilltoppers visited a good Maine FCS team and lost 31-28, welcomed in Louisville and lost 20-17 and then brought in Ball State and won 28-20.
Marshall is 2-1 coming off a 37-20 loss at NC State, so the Thundering Herd are still favored, but WKU’s ability to keep things close has the oddsmakers attention apparently.
