Nuggets exercise Millsap’s $30M option | ESPN
The Denver Nuggets are bringing back Paul Millsap back after exercising a $30 million team option in order to keep the core of the team that reached the Western Conference semifinals last season. Millsap averaged 12.6 points and 7.2 rebounds for the Nuggets in the 2018-19 campaign.

Klay Thompson is an unrestricted free agent this summer, and although numerous teams expressed interest in him, the Golden State Warriors will offer him a max contract in an attempt to keep the sharpshooter.

Nets extend a qualifying offer to Russell | ESPN
The Brooklyn Nets extended a qualifying offer to All-Star point guard D’Angelo Russell, and now he became a restricted free agent. The Nets will want to have their options open as they will likely pursue Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in free agency, but now they also can match any offer Russell receives from another team.

Kevin Durant will hold discussions with four NBA teams and then will decide his next step, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. Durant declined his $31.5 million player option with the Warriors, but the team will offer him a new five-year $221 million deal while other organizations can only offer him a four-year $164 million contract.
