San Jose State narrowly fell 44-41 to Hawaii. Josh Love completed 28-of-49 passes for 451 yards and three touchdowns. Malike Roberson (47 rushing yards on 16 attempts, one TD) and the signal-caller Love (-27 yards on 10 carries) spearheaded the running attack while Oliver (eight receptions, 158 yards, one TD) and Tre Walker (three catches, 56 yards) led the pass-catching corps in the loss.
