Combat Sports Betting Blog: Weekend Fallout

This past weekend our ongoing blog “Weekend Combat Sports Betting” returned as we placed five bets on the world of combat sports.

Friday night saw Bellator 135 air on SpikeTV, and the card caught the attention of our bets, as we put some money on the Francis Carmont vs Guilherme Viana light heavyweight bout, as well as the Joe Warren vs Marcos Galvao bantamweight title bout.

In boxing, we head across the pond to Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena for Kell Brook‘s first IBF World Welterweight title defense as he faced off against Ionut Dan Ion and made short work of him, ending the fight in the fourth round.  On the undercard, up and coming Brit Adam Etches had his perfect (18-0) career mark sullied by a fourth round TKO loss to Russian veteran Sergey Khomitsky.

Finally on Sunday, the World Wrestling Entertainment’s signature Wrestlemania 31 event went down in California, and out blogger took a flier predicting the wildly unpredictable main event between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.

How did the bets go for our this past weekend?  Check out the latest edition of the ongoing “Combat Sports Betting” series for details on which way the bets went.
