Cornell Big Red – Princeton Tigers Preview – 02.27.2016

The Princeton Tigers (19-5) look to extend their seven-game winning streak against the stumbling Cornell Big Red (9-16) at L. Stockwell Jadwin Gymnasium. The game gets underway at 6:00 pm ET on Saturday, Feb. 27.

The Tigers were victorious over Columbia 88-83 on Friday. Steven Cook led all scorers on the team with 23 points on 8-for-11 shooting. The Big Red are coming off a 79-67 loss at the hands of Penn on Friday. Robert Hatter had a good shooting night, leading the game with 31 points.

Second-chance opportunities are expected to be few and far between for the Big Red in this contest. They rank 332nd in the nation in offensive rebounding (OR% of 23.1%), while Princeton is 20th-best in the nation on the defensive backboards (DR% of 75.2%).
