Obviously, you knew Dallas Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones would be frustrated. Indeed, in the wee hours of the night reports broke that the Cowboys are interested in Urban Meyer as their next head coach. Equally important, the Cowboys fell to 6-7 on the season after a 31-24 loss in Chicago on Thursday night football.
Now Jones delivers a bit of a frustrating sounding interview with 105.3 in Dallas. While it sounds funny, you can sense the guy is at the end of his rope.
Jerry Jones on with 105.3 in Dallas at the top of the interview:
“Get your damn act together yourself OK? … Settle down just a little bit… I don’t like your attitude”
Later, when I asked if he understands questions about Garrett’s job:
“Do you understand bullshit?”

One of the more frustrating quotes Jones delivers is at the forefront of the segment, which you can hear above. This is what he says:
“Get your damn act together yourself. OK? Settle down just a little bit. … I don’t like your attitude to come in. I’ve been traveling all night and don’t have the patience to jack with you today.”
Then Jones goes on to ask the co-hosts of the show if they ‘understand bullshit’. All in all, you can tell that Jones knows this is a season gone amiss. In all likelihood, there’s no help coming for the Cowboys to pull off a miracle run to the Super Bowl.
Therefore, they will be looking at terminating ties with head coach Jason Garrett and a quarterback who wants a mega-extension in Dak Prescott. All of this points to an organization in a bit of a rut with an aging owner who wants to win as desperately as any of them.
Finally, in an odd sort of way; is it okay to feel sorry for Jerry Jones? We ask this honestly.
