Creighton Bluejays – Georgetown Hoyas Preview – 01.26.2016

The Georgetown Hoyas (12-8) will try to slow down the Big East’s top scoring team when they take on the Creighton Bluejays (14-6) at the Verizon Center. The game starts at 6:30 pm ET on Tuesday, Jan. 26 and will air on FS1.

The Hoyas were beaten by Connecticut 68-62 on Saturday. L.J. Peak was one of the best players for the Hoyas, finishing with 12 points, three rebounds, and one steal. The Bluejays are coming off a 72-64 win over Butler on Saturday. Maurice Watson Jr. led the team in scoring with 20 points on 6-for-10 shooting.

From an eFG% perspective, this will be a battle of strength versus strength when the Bluejays have the ball. Their sweet-shooting offense ranks 20th in the nation in that metric at 55.2%, while Georgetown is 18th-best in the nation in eFG% defense (44.3%).
