DeMarcus Cousins allegedly said to his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his son that he’d put a “bullet in [her] f*cking head” if she didn’t let their son come to his wedding. The woman also claimed she has the audio to prove Cousins’ threat.
According to TMZ, who obtained a police report, Christy West, Cousins’ former girlfriend, alleges that he threatened her during an argument over allowing their 7-year-old son to attend Cousins’ wedding to another woman. This happened just a day before Cousins’ marriage with his new girlfriend Morgan Lang, in Atlanta.

Christy West claims that the voice in this recording is DeMarcus’ as she made it while at a trampoline park in Alabama with their child.
“I’m gonna ask you this one more time before I take it to another level,” the man says … “Can I have my son here, please?”
Christy responded, “No” — and that’s when the man makes the alleged threat — “I’m gonna make sure I put a bullet in your f**king head.”
The next second, the audio cuts off — but West has since filed court documents in Alabama looking for a restraining order against DeMarcus. She also claims that Cousins was going to kill her, “even if he didn’t have to get his hands dirty doing it.” West added that he choked her during a previous altercation, but didn’t give any specifics.
The Los Angeles Lakers and the NBA are opening an investigation and will check out the allegations against the All-Star center.
“We are aware of the allegation involving DeMarcus Cousins and, of course, take this claim seriously,” the Lakers said in a statement. “We are in the process of gathering information and will reserve further comment at this time.”
Cousins’ wedding took place on Saturday in Atlanta, and while numerous famous people showed up, including his former teammates, DeMarcus’ 7-year-old didn’t attend.
