It will be a battle between Big East opponents when the Georgetown Hoyas (9-6) welcome the DePaul Blue Demons (6-9) to the Verizon Center. The game gets underway at 12:00 pm ET on Saturday, Jan. 9 and will air on FS1.
The Hoyas were beaten by Creighton 79-66 on Tuesday. Jessie Govan finished with 17 points to lead the team. The Blue Demons are coming off a 77-72 loss at the hands of Butler on Tuesday. Tommy Hamilton IV accumulated 19 points, nine rebounds, and two assists.
This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams. The Hoyas won the first game 70-58. Despite the loss, Billy Garrett Jr. was a top performer in the game with 21 points, five rebounds, five assists, and one steal.
