Detroit Pistons – Orlando Magic Preview – 04.06.2016

The Detroit Pistons will travel to the Amway Center to square off against the Orlando Magic. The game gets underway at 7:00 pm ET on Wednesday, Apr. 6 and will air on FxD and FxF.

The Magic beat the Grizzlies 119-107 on Sunday. Nikola Vucevic fueled the Magic, recording 25 points and 10 rebounds to notch his 28th double-double this season. The Pistons, meanwhile, are coming off an ugly 107-89 loss at the hands of the Heat on Tuesday. Tobias Harris recorded 21 points, seven rebounds, and two assists.

Victor Oladipo has really been playing well as of late for the Magic, averaging 16.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 3.2 steals, 1.5 blocks, and 1.2 three-pointers over the last five games. Harris has also been on a tear in the same span, averaging 18.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.8 blocks, and 0.8 three-pointers while leading the Pistons.

The Pistons have won both matchups against the Magic this season, including a 118-102 victory in their last matchup. Andre Drummond played a huge role in the victory by recording a double-double with 30 points and 14 rebounds.

The Magic are looking to improve on their records of 33-44 Straight Up (SU) and 44-33 Against The Spread (ATS). They have gone 33-44 SU and 44-33 ATS against teams from the Eastern Conference.
