Detroit Tigers at Cleveland Indians Free Preview 04/12/18

The Detroit Tigers will be squaring off against their divisional rival Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:10 p.m. ET and SportsTime Ohio is in line to showcase the matchup.

Detroit (+160) is hosting this game as the underdog against Cleveland (-170) and oddsmakers have put the Over/Under for this night game at 7.5 runs (-110 for the over and -110 for the under). Bettors can also wager on the game’s spread with the most recent runline odds sitting at -135 for the Tigers +1.5 runs and +115 for the Indians -1.5.

Nicholas Castellanos and JaCoby Jones have led Detroit’s hitters. Castellanos is hitting .273/.347/.409 with 12 hits, three RBIs and eight runs scored, while Jones is slashing .300/.500/.300 with three hits and zero RBIs.

Compared to his total season slash line of .272/.320/.490, Castellanos did not do as well hitting against righties on the road last year, putting up a slash line of .212/.264/.360 across 239 such plate appearances.
