NFL players are physical specimens, but it’s not often you see a wide receiver that looks like DK Metcalf. The Ole Miss standout receiver set the NFL Combine abuzz in Indianapolis with his upper body strength, drawing comparisons to a first round pick 20 years ago in David Boston. It took two days for one of the top receivers to come off the board, yet he seemed very happy to be in Seattle on Saturday.
Just gonna leave this one here……@PeteCarroll @dkmetcalf14 pic.twitter.com/TKMWJJ0IQK

The Seattle Seahawks selected DK Metcalf with the last pick of the second round, getting Russell Wilson one of the top receivers in the 2019 NFL Draft. Metcalf arrived in style, closing the loop on an inside joke between him and the brass in Seattle, and Pete Carroll flexed his muscles too.
#NYGiants fans went through the full range of emotions when the team picked Daniel Jones at no. 6. @rodger reacts to some of those reactions. pic.twitter.com/Iy42Jt7tCy

The New York Giants reached big time when they selected Duke quarterback Daniel Jones with the sixth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. They have been pilloried for the decision to take Jones so high as some draftniks gave the quarterback a grade outside the top 100, and the social media reactions to Dave Gettleman’s gamble are priceless.
Hmmmm, I wonder why Trump likes this Nick Bosa guy so much…

Nick Bosa has apologized for some of his social media decisions while he was in high school and college, and he will be under a spotlight in San Francisco. The city will not react well to similar decisions in the future.
Texans’ TE Ryan Griffin has been arrested in Nashville, Tennessee, on charges of vandalism and public intoxication, according to online court records. According to multiple reports, Griffin allegedly punched a hotel window Friday night in Nashville.

Most NFL people have been effusive in their praise of Nashville as a destination city throughout the 2019 NFL Draft, but Houston Texans tight end Ryan Griffin was not too happy in the Music City on Friday night. Houston’s decision to draft tight end Kahale Warring from San Diego State seems to have set Griffin off, and it appears very likely that the six-year veteran out of Connecticut will be released soon.
19 years ago today the @patriots took a chance on the guy in this photo: Me (199) 😂. Thank you to EVERYONE who’s helped me to prove them right!
Also, did they stop taking these photos after mine?? 🤣🤣 pic.twitter.com/qxBoCc0F1H

The sixth round of the NFL Draft is underway, and that means we will hear Tom Brady’s name at least a dozen times. At this point, everyone knows Brady’s story. He was the 199th pick in the 2000 NFL Draft, and he was the seventh quarterback taken in the draft. Any quarterback drafted in the sixth round will instantly elicit those unfair comparisons.
