Thus far in 2019, the Chicago Bears have been an immense disappointment. Then, on Sunday; another gutless performance unfolded at Soldier Field in Chicago.
To recap, the Bears had the 2-5 Los Angeles Chargers come to town. Obviously this was welcome news to the Bears who entered Sunday at 3-3 with their season at a crossroads. Still, all remained close with the Chargers holding a 17-16 lead until late in the game.
Of course, Bears’ kicker Eddie Piniero missed his second kick of the game that would have won the game for Chicago. It was then that Los Angeles Dodgers’ second baseman Gavin Lux chimed in.

Watching along with the rest of America, Lux has allegedly decided he can’t take anymore of being a Bears fan. Remember, Lux was born in Milwaukee; so it would certainly be easier for him to be a Green Bay Packers fan. For example, he grew up a fan of the Milwaukee Brewers.
However, Lux surprised everyone with their eye on twitter. He’s decided he wants to root for the Los Angeles Chargers, if you take his tweet to heart.
“I can’t take it anymore… I retire as a bears fan. Melvin Gordon throw me a jersey, I’m a Chargers fan now.”
Of course if you’re my age, you remember how old you are. Perhaps, you realize how young Lux is. Here I am writing this article and deleting the ‘San Diego’ in front of the Chargers throughotu the article. Obviously, Lux was alive when they played in San Diego; albeit not very long.
If the Dodgers’ young phenom is thinking about switching up NFL teams and no longer rooting for the Bears, there are a whole list of teams better to choose from. Right now, how can you not go with the Chiefs or Patriots?
