The Golden State Warriors got star Stephen Curry back Tuesday night and jumped to a 2-0 series lead against the New Orleans Pelicans. It wasn’t easy, but the Dubs defended home court with a 121-116 win at Oracle Arena. Draymond Green was exceptional.
Green played 41 minutes and amassed 20 points, 12 assists, and nine rebounds. At one point, Green got into it with veteran New Orleans guard Rajon Rondo.
As the Inside the NBA crew watched that footage, Charles Barkley said, “I just want somebody to punch him in the face,” referring to Green.

After the game, a reporter asked Green for a response. The former Michigan State Spartan challenged Barkley, calling him old and telling him to “shut up.”
“If you’re not going to punch me in my face when you see me, then shut up,” Draymond said. “It’s no different than somebody sitting behind a computer screen tweeting, ‘I’ll knock you out,’ and you never seen them in life. But he’s seen me a bunch of times, and he’ll see me again this year. Punch me in the face when you see me, or if not no one cares what you would have done. You old and it is what is. So if you ain’t going to punch me when you see me, then stop talking about it. Period.”
