It was an unusual week in the English Premier League as normally we do our EPL recap on Mondays. However, with games going on midweek, we’ve had to wait a little bit for everything to finish up before doing our weekly reflection.
The critics of Leicester City were dealt another blow this Tuesday as the biggest surprise this season pushed forward with another big win to remain in sole possession of top spot in the Premier League table. It was a familiar face that dominated up front for Leicester in a 2-0 win over Liverpool and it’s no surprise that the star striker was the top fantasy performer up front from Tuesday. Here is a look at the top individual fantasy performances by position from Tuesday in the Premier League.
GK: Fraser Forster, Southampton
Manchester City’s Joe Hart made several outstanding saves to preserve a 1-0 win over Sunderland while Petr Cech registered a solid performance too, but no goalkeeper produced a better fantasy total on Tuesday than Southampton’s No. 1 netminder. Forster made 10 saves to preserve the clean sheet in the 0-0 draw with Arsenal and earned top fantasy honors among Premier League goalkeepers. Southampton has now held opponents to just 24 goals in 24 games this season.

M: Christian Eriksen, Tottenham
Tottenham remained in the top three in the table thanks to another tremendous performance from its star midfield-striker tandem with Eriksen and Kane. Both ended up landing among the top players at their position in our EPL recap. Eriksen had two assists in Spurs’ 3-0 win over Norwich to earn top honors among Premier League midfielders. These two are a big reason why Tottenham has been so dangerous at the offensive end this season. They have notched 44 goals this season, which is tied for the second-most in the EPL. Expect them to remain near the top the rest of the season.
M: Michail Antonio, West Ham United
West Ham United ended a two-match winless drought with a convincing 2-0 win over Aston Villa. Antonio delivered a goal to edge out Tottenham’s Bamidele Alli and Swansea’s Gylfi Sigurdsson for the second-best fantasy score among Premier League midfielders on Tuesday. West Ham is now in sixth place in the EPL table with 39 points, which puts them five points ahead of Southampton and Liverpool.
