Euro Fantasy: Daily Fantasy Lineup For Sunday

France

Euro 2016 continues with only two games on the schedule for Sunday. There are just two games on the day and both will start at 3:00 p.m. ET. It’s important to note what’s on the line for the day. France will play Switzerland and both are very likely to advance. France has six points so far and is already through, while Switzerland has four points and is very likely through. They would have to lose to France and then see Romania beat Albania by two or more. That’s possible but what’s more likely is that France and Switzerland take it easy and play to some kind of a 0-0 draw.

With only two games on the board, the lack of rosters to choose from will make each pick that much more important in Euro fantasy leagues. We took the time to break down all four rosters in order to provide you with the perfect combination of star power and sleeper value plays. Here is a look at the optimal lineup for Sunday’s DraftKings Euro Fantasy Leagues.

GK: Hugo Lloris, France

Salary: $5,600

France will be in a tough position trying to put its group away but they have spent the past couple of days getting over the nerves of playing in front of their home fans and should be able to get the job done. Lloris has been excellent in goal for France and we expect the same high level of play for Sunday’s group stage finale versus Switzerland.

D: Laurent Koscielny, France

Salary: $3,900

Koscielny is available at a very reasonable price for a France defender that should play the full 90 minutes versus Switzerland. France is favored to win its final group stage game and Koscielny should benefit from being able to close out the Switzerland attack.

D: Steliano Filip, Romania

Salary: $3,400

Romania was very unlucky not to get the win over France in its group stage opener and after a draw against Switzerland they will need a victory over Albania to advance. Romania is the better team of the two and if they play the way they did in the first two games they should get the three points that they are after.

M: Dmitri Payet, France

Salary: $10,900

With only two games on the slate for Sunday, there is absolutely no doubt that Payet should be in every single lineup for Euro fantasy. France should have a strong edge versus Switzerland and it will be Payet leading the way for them in their midfield.

M: Gabriel Torje, Romania

Salary: $6,200

Torje has featured up front for Romania and should have a significant role once again versus Albania. Romania needs to find an edge on offense in order to get the three points it needs and Torje is a quality pick at a very reasonable price.

F: Antoine Griezmann, France

Salary: $9,500

Griezmann showed plenty of flare in France’s 2-0 win over Albania when he scored on one of his two shots in the match. Griezmann will play an integral role up front for France once again in their finale and we have no problem spending a little more to lock him in as our top forward option for Euro fantasy.

F: Bogdan Stancu, Romania

Salary: $6,400

Stancu broke through with a goal versus Switzerland in their 1-1 draw and there is a very good chance he will make an offensive impact in their finale versus Albania. The fact that he is available at just $6.4K makes him the perfect option to fill out this final forward spot.

FLEX: Adil Rami, France

Salary: $3,900

Rami was exception in France’s 2-0 win over Albania and should have no problem contributing again from a Euro fantasy perspective on Sunday. We expect him to play the full 90 minutes against Switzerland and he should be able to put up the best Euro fantasy score of the players we can still afford for our FLEX position with just over $4K left.
