While there are some teams that are set at the quarterback position for 2015, there are a number of teams that have major question marks. Let’s look at each of the 32 NFL teams and their quarterback situation and fantasy football implications for 2015.
NFC East
Dallas Cowboys: A reliable starter in fantasy football in recent years has been Tony Romo who averaged almost 22 points per game last year but keep in mind he will be 35 years old in 2015. The backup is Brandon Weeden who inspires little confidence.
New York Giants: The Giants are set with Eli Manning as he had over 21 points per game last year and he could have a huge 2015 in terms of fantasy football output with Odell Beckham Jr. and Victor Cruz as his targets. His backup is Ryan Nassib.
Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles went and traded for Sam Bradford and if he can stay healthy he could put up huge numbers. Just think about what Nick Foles did with this offense when he was protected.
Washington Redskins: The Redskins have Robert Griffin III, Colt McCoy and Kirk Cousins. None of the three inspire any confidence so keep an eye on the NFL Draft to see if the Redskins trade up to take Marcus Mariota.

NFC North
Chicago Bears: The Bears are sticking with Jay Cutler and it is hard to like his chances of doing much in fantasy football with John Fox as the head coach. Jimmy Clausen is the backup and coaches have said it’s an open competition going into fall camp.
Detroit Lions: The Lions have Matthew Stafford and he is a solid fantasy football quarterback who averaged 20 points per game last year although somewhat inconsistent from week to week. His backup is Dan Orlovsky.
Green Bay Packers: The Packers have one of the best fantasy football quarterbacks in the league in Aaron Rodgers who averaged over 25 points per game a year ago. His backup is Wisconsin alum Scott Tolzien.
Minnesota Vikings: One of the hot draft choices in fantasy football in 2015 should be Teddy Bridgewater (17.6 points per game last season) who could be a sneaky starter for many teams. Shaun Hill is the new backup.

NFC South
Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons have a solid fantasy producer in Matt Ryan at quarterback who averaged over 22 points per game a year ago. T.J. Yates is the backup.
Carolina Panthers: Cam Newton has been a poor fantasy quarterback recently as he doesn’t run as much as he used to. Derek Anderson is the backup.
New Orleans Saints: The Saints still have Drew Brees who used to be a great fantasy football quarterback. That is no longer the case but Brees is still solid as he averaged over 24 points per game last season. Luke McCown is the backup.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The Bucs are expected to take Jameis Winston with the top overall pick. It is tough to trust rookie quarterbacks in fantasy football. Mike Glennon is the backup or the starter if Winston falters.

NFC West
Arizona Cardinals: The Cardinals will have a healthy Carson Palmer and he can be a decent fill-in quarterback in fantasy football. Drew Stanton is the backup.
St. Louis Rams: The Rams traded Bradford to Philly for Nick Foles. The Rams are a run-first team so it is hard to like Foles for fantasy football but he still could be a decent bye week player. Austin Davis is the backup.
San Francisco 49ers: The 49ers still have Colin Kaepernick but he has been a bust recently in fantasy football even though he averaged nearly 20 points per game last season. His backup is Blaine Gabbert.
Seattle Seahawks: The Seahawks have a star in Russell Wilson and he has been a very good fantasy football QB because he runs a lot. He averaged over 23 points per game last season. Tarvaris Jackson or T.J. Daniels is the backup.

AFC East
Buffalo Bills: The Bills went out and signed Matt Cassel and they still have EJ Manuel but it is hard to like either of these two in fantasy football.
Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins have Ryan Tannehill who is an underrated fantasy quarterback as he averaged nearly 22 points per game last year. Matt Moore is the backup.
New England Patriots: The Patriots still have Tom Brady who had a very nice 2015 fantasy season, averaging over 21 points per game. Jimmy Garoppolo is the backup.
New York Jets: The Jets went out and got Ryan Fitzpatrick so it will be a battle between Fitzpatrick and Geno Smith unless the Jets take a QB in the draft.

AFC North
Baltimore Ravens: The Ravens have Joe Flacco but he is nothing more than a bye week starter in fantasy football. Matt Schaub is the backup.
Cincinnati Bengals: The Bengals have Andy Dalton but he is not a good fantasy football quarterback as he averaged just over 17 points per game last year. A.J. McCarron is the backup.
Cleveland Browns: The Browns have Josh McCown and Johnny Manziel. Neither should be drafted in fantasy football.
Pittsburgh Steelers: One of the most reliable fantasy quarterbacks is Ben Roethlisberger who averaged over 23 points per game last year. Bruce Gradkowski is the backup.

AFC South
Houston Texans: The Texans have Brian Hoyer and Ryan Mallett and neither is a good fantasy option.
Indianapolis Colts: The top fantasy quarterback is Andrew Luck as he averaged over 27 points per game last season and he will likely be the first quarterback drafted in fantasy football in 2015. Matt Hasselbeck is the backup.
Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jaguars have Blake Bortles and he is making progress although he is still not a good fantasy option. Chad Henne is the backup.
Tennessee Titans: The Titans have Zach Mettenberger but he is not a good fantasy choice. The player who could be a good choice is Marcus Mariota if the Titans take him in the NFL Draft.

AFC West
Denver Broncos: The Broncos are bringing back Peyton Manning and while he is a reliable fantasy football quarterback (24 points per game last season) he is no longer a great one. Brock Osweiler is the backup.
Kansas City Chiefs: The Chiefs have Alex Smith and Smith is nothing more than a bye week fill-in. Chase Daniel is the backup.
Oakland Raiders: The Raiders have a good quarterback in Derek Carr and he is at least worth considering as a fantasy backup as he averaged 16 points per game last year. Christian Ponder is the new backup.
San Diego Chargers: Philip Rivers has been a reliable fantasy quarterback lately (22 points per game last year) and is a good mid-round pick in fantasy football. Kellen Clemens is the backup.
