With all attention directed towards the Final Four yesterday, it was no surprise to see some of the sport’s biggest stars shine brightest in Indianapolis.
Of course, that is what had the college basketball world in such a buzz during the days leading up to the action. Big name programs and big name coaches attract big time players, which is an idea that shouldn’t shock anyone. The line-up of Kentucky, Duke, Wisconsin and Michigan State certainly proved it to be true once again.
I haven’t seen Mudiay but Justise Winslow is looking like the No. 3 pick behind Towns and Okafor. Does it all and plays so hard.

Justise Winslow, Duke: After scoring just six points against Robert Morris in Duke’s first NCAA Tournament, Winslow has been on a tear. Two double-doubles, and nearly a third against MSU last night as he poured in 19 points and nine rebounds. Throw in his offensive production with his patented energy on the defensive end, and you have a true candidate for MOP.
Yes, this is Jahlil Okafor palming a regulation basketball. pic.twitter.com/G4dITUwNdH

Jahlil Okafor, Duke: The Okafor that we saw against Sparty is the one we’ve come to know throughout the college basketball season. His dominance inside was only mitigated by the lack of touches he received in the first half, yet he still finished with 18 points.
How soon till Drake is rapping about Sam Dekker and rocking these cummerbund shorts in his videos?

Sam Dekker, Wisconsin: Perhaps the two most important plays of the Badgers’ win over Kentucky came on back-to-back possessions when Dekker hit a step back three over the out-stretched hands of the Kentucky defense, and then took a charge on the other end of the floor. Dekker is also a true MOP candidate.

Frank Kaminsky, Wisconsin: Coming into last night’s game, many questioned just how Kaminsky would get looks against the length and athleticism of Kentucky. With his 20 points, 11 rebounds in tow, no one is having that discussion anymore.
