Florida Gators vs Missouri Tigers Game Odds

Hoping to extend their flawless record, the No. 11 Florida Gators (5-0) travel to take on the Missouri Tigers (4-1). The game starts at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct 10 and will be available on SECN.

In last week’s matchup, Missouri defeated South Carolina 24-10. Nate Brown had a quality performance in the victory, grabbing six receptions for 33 yards and two TDs. Florida was victorious last week’s performance as well, dominating Mississippi 38-10. Demarcus Robinson had a great game for the Gators, pulling in eight receptions for 98 yards and one TD. Will Grier also had a great game with 271 yards and four TDs through the air.

Florida is a small three-point favorite as they take on the Tigers.

Even with a positive Straight Up (SU) record of 4-1, the Tigers have not been an excellent bet so far this year, going 1-4 Against The Spread (ATS). Expect the Gators to have a tough time running against the 23rd-ranked Tigers run defense, which gives up 109.4 yards per game on the ground. Penalties aren’t likely to cost Missouri this week’s game. They earn the 19th-fewest penalties among Division I teams, averaging only 4.8 per game.

In the other locker room, the Gators head into Week 6 with records of 4-1 ATS and 5-0 SU. Passing the ball has resulted in a high success rate for the Gators, who average the 15th-best completion percentage in the nation at 67.3%. Shifting to the other side of the ball, it might be tough for the Tigers to keep up with Florida’s defense in a few areas. The Florida defense has given opposing running backs trouble this season. Opponents average just 99.4 rushing yards per game against this menacing bunch. The Gators have been embarrassing their opponent’s offensive lines this year. Florida’s defense ranks fifth in the country with an average of 3.8 sacks per game.

Predictions: SU Winner – Florida, ATS Winner – Florida
