Lubin was a four-year contributor for Florida International from 2015 to 2018. He was a local recruit from North Miami Beach, and he appeared in 45 games during his collegiate career. He was a starter in 2016 and 2018, and he finished his career starting a total of 23 games for the Golden Panthers.
Over the course of his career, Lubin recorded 86 tackles and picked off one pass. He was a key contributor for FIU last season, and his play was pivotal to the program winning a school record nine games and claiming the Bahamas Bowl.
According to reports, Emmanuel Lubin was pursuing a liberal studies degree at FIU, and he planned to continue his football career after receiving his degree. Lubin was just 21 years old at the time of his death, and the entire college football world mourns his passing.
