To bring the regular season to an end, the Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs (15-14) will travel to Vines Center and go head-to-head against the Liberty Flames (12-18). Action begins at 12:00 pm ET on Saturday, Feb. 27.
The Flames are hoping to rebound after their 73-56 loss to UNC Asheville on Thursday. Caleb Homesley had a good outing, recording eight points, two steals, and two rebounds for Liberty. The Runnin’ Bulldogs, meanwhile, are coming off an 81-71 win against Longwood on Saturday. Isaiah Ivey played well for Gardner-Webb, registering 16 points, nine rebounds, and two assists.
This is the second game of the year between these two teams, with the Flames winning the first matchup 69-55. Harold McBride was the top overall scorer in the game with 22 points.
