Another season, another Dallas Cowboy suspended for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. This time the NFL tabbed tight end Rico Geathers with the honor of sitting out a game this season for breaking the rule. Geathers was busted back in 2018 for marijuana possession. Texans no longer looking at Caserio for GM
If the Houston Texans are setting their sites on a new general manager, New England Patriots personnel man Nick Caserio will not appear in the viewfinder. The Texans announced they were no longer interested in interviewing Caserio for the job and the Patriots, in turn, dropped their accusation of tampering against the Texans.
With Houston dropping its pursuit of Nick Caserio, there now is a scenario under which the Texans will go this season without an official General Manager. For less than a year, Bill O’Brien, Jack Easterby and the scouting dept could divvy up the duties.

Roberts trade falls through so Lions cut him
He was supposed to be dealt to the defending Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots. Now, he’s on the street. After his trade was voided due to injuries, tight end Michael Roberts fell back on the Detroit Loins’ roster. Not liking that, the Lions jettisoned Roberts soon after.
