The Yankees’ Gleyber Torres owns the Orioles, by which we mean he hits a lot of home runs against them. As in, 10 of his 12 homers this year have come against Baltimore. But Torres also apparently owns part of Gary Thorne’s mind. The Orioles’ play-by-play announcer lost it — twice — when Torres homered — twice more — in Baltimore on Wednesday night. Needless to say, that became a fun social media moment. Speaking of fun moments, the Mets’ Rajai Davis hit a three-run home run in New York after arriving mid-game in an Uber, and the Marlins are finally having a bit of fun (though their social media team has been the whole time).
Gary Thorne has become famous for his passion over the years — just look up some of his clips from Boston Bruins’ playoff games — so you knew it was going to be fun when the Yankees’ Gleyber Torres kept going yard.

And for the grand finale, one of the coolest moments of Wednesday: Rajai Davis talking about his two-hour Uber ride to New York, where he promptly hit a big three-run pinch-hit home run for the Mets after being called up from Triple-A.
