The Golf Undigested Podcast with Clark Burroughs, a former PGA Tour player and proud Ohio State Buckeye, dishes out his latest news and musings in the world of golf. For all the latest golf odds and predictions, never miss an episode of Burroughs’ insightful advice and hilarious observations into the greatest game of all, GOLF!
Burroughs starts Podcast #59 by taking us through last week’s action in the world of golf. The Travelers Championship went extra holes when Jordan Spieth and Daniel Berger were tied at 12-under par. It appeared that Berger had the upperhand after Spieth hit his approach shot on the first playoff into the greenside bunker, but Spieth did what champions do – he holed his bunker shot to secure the win. His celebration is worth a look.
On the other side of the pond at the BMW International, the 837th ranked player in the world, Andres Romero won the tournament. His final round 65 was good enough to hold off rookie Thomas Detry and pre-tournament favorite Sergio Garcia.
On the PGA Champions Tour, Fred Couples picked up his first win of the year at the American Insurance Family Championship in Madison, Wisconsin.
Burroughs makes his picks for the week as well as helping you set your fantasy team. Our host record stands at 74-49-10 for the year and 6-0-1 last week. Burroughs dishes on this week’s action on all the tours across the world.
This week the PGA Tour heads east to Maryland for the Quicken Loans National. The European Tour travels to Paris, France for the HNA Open de France and the PGA Champions Tour has their second major championship of the year at the U.S. Senior Open in Massachusetts. Should be an exciting week in golf!

PICKS to WIN
Si Woo Kim +4500 – The 21-year old is a stud. He won earlier this year at The PLAYERS and contended at the recent U.S. Open for three rounds. His future is bright, his attitude is positive and he will be in the mix this week in Maryland. I love the price too.
Xander Schauffele +5000 – Before the U.S. Open, none of us knew much about him. His top five finish proved to him and to us that he can really, really play. He backed it up last week with another solid finish (T14) and is now a player that has bigger things to achieve, like maybe his first win on the PGA Tour.
TV Coverage for Quicken Loans National: Thursday-Friday, 3:30-6:30 p.m. ET – Golf Channel. Saturday-Sunday, 1-2:30 p.m. – Golf Channel, 3-6 p.m. – CBS.

Bernd Wiesberger +1600 is one of the most undervalued players on the planet and also one of the most consistent. He won earlier in the year at the Shenzhen Invitational and has put together a solid run of four top 20’s and a top 30 in his last five starts worldwide. Oh, and by the way, he won here in 2015.
Andrew “Big Beef” Johnston +8200 is worth a look this week. He played here a couple of years ago and was T30. The big fella hits it straight and won a Challenge Tour event in France in 2014.
South African Richard Sterne +11555 was runner-up to McDowell in 2013 and followed up with a T11 last year. At that price, he’s worth a look.
Burroughs wraps up #59 by giving the listeners a tip on ball position on 50 yards shots and chip shots around the green that will help you hit it more solid and consistent.
