Justin Rose +1950 is my pick this week. He’s making his fifth start at this event and has two top 10’s – T7 and T5. The Englishman finished the year strong with four top 10’s in all four FedExCup tournaments. Rosey is the most consistent player in the world and he’s due to breakthrough with a win, he’s been too close for too long.

If you like take a crack at a long-shot, Peter Uihlein +6600 is your man. The former Oklahoma
State standout finally earned his PGA Tour card after playing most of his career on the European Tour. He’s played in China 12 times, with eight top-30’s. Uihlein is a player to keep your eye on, not only this week, but all year long. He’s going to contend in some big-time events, starting this week in Shanghai.

MATCHUPS of the WEEK (Odds courtesy of BetDSI)

Justin Rose -140 vs. Ross Fisher +120

Two Englishmen on top of their games. Fisher has been on a roll on the European Tour with two straight top 5’s and Rose closed out the FedExCup Playoffs with four straight top 10’s. The difference here is that Rose is a better player than Fisher. Week in and week out Rose will own Fisher. Lay the wood and take Rosey.

Francesco Molinari -115 vs. Tommy Fleetwood -105

I like Fleetwood for two reasons. Firstly, he leads the Race to Dubai standing with four weeks to go and with a good finish can further distance himself from his closest pursuers. Secondly he is starting to play the golf we saw from him in the summertime, where he won twice and contended in the U.S. Open. Molinari doesn;t have the firepower to stay with Fleetwood this week. Cheap price too!
