Over the last few years, Roger Goodell has continually expressed a desire to shorten the preseason slate. He reaffirmed his stance Monday, stating that he doesn’t believe four preseason games provides NFL fans with “great value”. Goodell and the owners have been pushing for a regular season where every team plays 18 games, and this is one of the primary things the owners are after in the new Collective Bargaining Agreement. The current CBA is set to expire at the end of the 2020 season.

Terrelle Pryor has found a new home. Pryor signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday morning, and his addition has bolstered the depth in the receiving corps.
It’s been a wild ride for Pryor this decade. The former Ohio State quarterback was taken in the third round of the 2011 NFL Supplemental Draft by the Oakland Raiders. He played quarterback for the three seasons he was in Oakland, but he failed to impress and switched positions to become a wide receiver in 2015. Pryor needed a year to learn the position before exploding on the scene in 2016. He caught 77 passes and racked up more than 1,000 yards for the Browns, but he has yet to have the same impact anywhere else. Pryor has not been able to stick with Washington, Buffalo, or the Jets since that one great year.
