The Utah Valley Wolverines (12-16) will have their chance to beat the Western Athletic’s best team when they take on the Grand Canyon Antelopes (24-6) at UCCU Events Center. The game gets underway at 4:00 pm ET on Saturday, Mar. 5.
The Wolverines lost a tough one against Seattle 72-69 in their last game. Marcel Davis was the best player for the Wolverines, finishing with 14 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. The Antelopes are coming off a 73-64 loss to Saint Mary’s in their last outing. Grandy Glaze had a good shooting night, leading the team with 16 points.
Davis has really been playing well as of late for the Wolverines, averaging 15.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, 6.6 assists, 0.6 steals, and 1.6 three-pointers over the last five games.
This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams. The Antelopes won the first game 99-88. Joshua Braun was a standout player in the game, producing 34 points, five rebounds, one steal, one block, and one three-pointer.
