In addition to being former NFL players and brothers with the probably the coolest player in the NFL, Chris and Glenn Gronkowski also happen to know sports betting.
The two Gronkowski brothers previously made their AFC picks and predictions. So now it’s time to get their NFC picks. They each made picks for win totals, divisional odds and conference odds.

NFC Championship Picks
At +260, Philadelphia is a slight favorite over Los Angeles, Minnesota and Green Bay to win the NFC. Chris Gronkowski said the Eagles deserve to be the favorites — especially if Carson Wentz is healthy. But he also said there might be a surprising team that emerges from the NFC.
“If Carson Wentz is healthy and doesn’t fall into a somewhat secondary sophomore slump, the Eagles deserve to be the favorite,” he said. “But I think the NFC is going to play out a little different than everyone is expecting.”
Glenn Gronkowski agreed with his brother and said the Eagles are the team to beat.
“I think the Eagles pull if off again,” Glenn said. “Their team is stacked, not just on offense, but on defense as well. With Carson Wentz back from injury, coming off an amazing year, he should be able to return to his MVP-caliber performance.”
The Gronkowski brothers make compelling arguments in favor of the Eagles. However, there is some value in the Falcons at +900 to win the NFC. Atlanta is only a year removed from making the Super Bowl, and they have the talent to make it to Super Bowl 53.

Divisional Picks
(Glenn’s picks are on the left, while Chris’s picks are on the right)
NFC West: 49ers (+350), Rams (-225)
NFC East: Eagles (-165), Eagles (-165)
NFC North: Lions (+720), Vikings (-110)
NFC South: Falcons (+170), Saints (+140)
Glenn made some bold choices with San Francisco and Detroit. The 49ers winning the NFC West wouldn’t be too shocking, though Los Angeles is the heavy favorite for a reason. However, it would be absolutely stunning if Detroit won the NFC North. There’s certainly some value at +720, and the Lions did finish 9-7 a year ago, but it’s not a likely scenario.
Chris chose the favorites in each division. Minnesota and New Orleans aren’t heavy favorites, but Philadelphia and Los Angeles are definitely expected to win their respective divisions.
Atlanta has a favorable schedule, so they are a very solid choice at +170. Carolina won 11 games last year, and they are also worth a look at +225. In the NFC North, Green Bay is a good bet at +100 since Aaron Rodgers is healthy again.
NFC Totals
One NFC total Glenn Gronkowski really likes is San Francisco over 8.5 wins. Glenn is a big believer in 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, and he thinks the team will build on its six-game winning streak to end the 2017 season.
“Now that Garoppolo has had a year to learn the offense as well as his teammates strengths and weaknesses, I think he will continue to make a positive impact on the field,” Gronkowski said. “I believe they will exceed the 8.5 wins and when you’re getting plus money on the over (+125), this is a great value bet that will pay out well before the end of the year.”
While taking the 49ers over 8.5 wins certainly could pay off, the Cowboys under 8.5 is a more intriguing bet. Dallas regressed mightily last year, and Dak Prescott has even less weapons on offense now with the departure of Dez Bryant and Jason Witten.
The Cowboys have a difficult schedule, and it’s hard to see them winning nine games or more in 2018.
