The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors (2-4) are seeking to put an end to a three-game losing streak as they take on the New Mexico Lobos (3-3). The game kicks off Saturday, Oct 17 at 7:00 p.m. ET and will be shown on ROOT.
In last week’s matchup, New Mexico lost to Nevada 35-17. Dameon Gamblin had a good performance in the loss, pulling in eight receptions for 71 yards. Teriyon Gipson put up 68 rushing yards and a TD on 11 carries. Hawaii also fell short, losing to San Diego State 28-14. Isaiah Bernard had a quality performance for the Rainbow Warriors, grabbing two receptions for 58 yards.
As a small three-point underdog, the Rainbow Warriors look to upend the Lobos. The Over/Under (O/U) is unavailable currently.
With a 3-3 record both Straight Up (SU) and Against The Spread (ATS), the Lobos will look to improve as they head into Week 7. A focal point of New Mexico’s offense is the running game, which ranks 10th in the country with 267.7 rushing yards per game. As for the New Mexico defense, a few key matchups could decide this game. There will be plenty of opportunities for the Lobos to steal the ball from Hawaii. The Rainbow Warriors currently rank 110th in turnovers given up with 2.2 per game.
