In the CUSA Championship game, Southern Miss was defeated by Western Kentucky 45-28. Mike Thomas had a great game in the loss, totaling six receptions for 90 yards and one TD. Ito Smith also had a big game with 105 rushing yards and a TD on 15 attempts. Washington is hoping for another victory like its last game, when it won big over Washington State 45-10. Myles Gaskin had a big game running the ball for the Huskies, running 32 times for 138 yards and two TDs. Jaydon Mickens put up 81 receiving yards on five catches.
