High Point Panthers – Longwood Lancers Preview – 02.18.2016

The High Point Panthers will be at Willett Hall to square off against the Longwood Lancers in a Big South matchup. The game starts at 7:00 pm ET on Thursday, Feb. 18.

The Lancers lost a winnable game to Liberty 69-68 in their last game. Lotanna Nwogbo recorded 21 points and 11 rebounds, earning his 10th double-double of the year. The Panthers are coming off a 72-50 win over Charleston Southern in their last outing. John Brown shot 7 for 11 and led in scoring with 16 points.

Over the last five games, Nwogbo has been playing at a high level for the Lancers. During that stretch, he has averaged 17.8 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks.

It could be an error-filled game for the Lancers offense, which ranks 316th in the nation in ball protection (TO% of 20.9%).
