For the first time in the second round, there was only one game that took place last night. The St. Louis Blues and Dallas Stars alternated goals throughout Game 3, and Missouri’s own Patrick Maroon struck last to lead St. Louis to a 4-3 win. St. Louis has now taken home ice advantage back from Dallas. Let’s take a look at last night’s game and some of the games taking place tonight below.

St. Louis has been lights out on the road this postseason. The Blues have won all four of their road games after a wild third period that saw four goals scored in a span of just over five minutes.
Don't look now, but Jaden Schwartz shares the League lead in goals this postseason. https://t.co/PI2NP29Gpy #stlblues #WeAllBleedBlue

Jaden Schwartz has been fantastic throughout these playoffs, and he is now tied for the playoff lead in goals. That’s a great sign for the Blues who have been solely dependent on Vladimir Tarasenko to create offense for far too long.

It’s been two weeks since Columbus last hosted a home game in the playoffs. The Blue Jackets had to wait for Boston and Toronto to finish their series, and the Jackets fans are ready to turn Nationwide Arena into a madhouse once more.

Colorado is on an eight-game home winning streak, and the Avalanche are looking to move ahead of San Jose in their conference semifinals series. The Avalanche have a devastating first line, and that has been the key for them throughout their late run.
Adam Fox is only defenseman in college hockey over last 20 years to average over a point and a half per game. The Rangers just got an absolute stud.

Finally, there is some news off the ice. Adam Fox refused to sign with Carolina after a standout career at Harvard, and the New York Rangers dealt for him on Tuesday afternoon. The Hurricanes received a second round pick in the 2019 NHL Draft and a conditional third round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft for Fox.
