The Houston Texans are in trouble with the NFL, and in an interesting turn of events, it looks like the New England Patriots are a wronged party this time around. New England is accusing Houston of tampering with Director of Player Personnel Nick Caserio, as the Texans were reportedly targeting him as one of their choices to replace Brian Gaine as general manager. The NFL will now get involved, and the Texans could be forced to surrender a draft pick to the Patriots are pay a hefty fine.
The Patriots filed tampering charges Wednesday against the Houston Texans for the attempted general manager hire of Nick Caserio, league sources told ESPN.
The NFL now is expected to gather relevant informant to open its investigation against Houston, per sources.

The hype on Trevor Lawrence is real. Lawrence was heralded as one of the best quarterback recruits ever coming out of high school, and his freshman season showed the sky is the limit. At least one NFL team has said that he would have been a top-five pick in this year’s NFL Draft, and he has drawn comparisons to John Elway and Andrew Luck as one of the most elite prospects ever. Lawrence will be at Clemson for two more years, and the oddsmakers think he has a good chance of leading the Tigers to another national championship.
Trevor Lawrence is already the most NFL-ready QB prospect in years, but he’s hoping his next 2 seasons at Clemson help him figure out what else he can be… https://t.co/NZIN4z58aN

No one thought the AAF would fail to last a single season considering the league’s resources and the people involved, but here we are. The AAF folded after just eight weeks, and from what we have learned, the league seems to have been a mess behind the scenes. This is one of the most in-depth looks yet.
F-bombs, a Xmas miracle, The Voice, too much duplicity, not enough money and the enduring devastation of a plane crash. Inside the AAF’s collapse — according to 40+ interviews by me and @mikerothstein, including Charlie Ebersol, Bill Polian, and Tom Dundonhttps://t.co/Bfyzhg6ip1
