Howard Bison vs. George Washington Colonials Betting Prediction

The Bison come in on a high note after dismantling the Washington Adventist Shock in their last contest, 115-91. Howard had a much better effective field goal percentage (0.564 vs. 0.419) and had a better turnover percentage (10.1 vs. 13.6). Howard was lifted by Chad Lott, who was the top scorer from either team with 27 points on 10-for-15 shooting.

The last time the Colonials played, they lost a tough one against the Stony Brook Seawolves, 77-74. Stony Brook’s 12.8 turnover percentage was their biggest strength over George Washington, who had a mark of 19.5. With 13 points and 11 rebounds, George Washington’s Arnaldo Toro had a good performance.

The Colonials won the only contest against the Bison last season, 84-75. The Colonials had a much better effective field goal percentage (0.578 vs. 0.431) and had a better offensive rebounding percentage (32.4 vs. 31.8).

It will be a matchup of opposite styles as the fast-paced Bison will look to push the more half-court-oriented Colonials. Since the 2017-18 season, the Bison rank 54th in possessions per game while the Colonials are 296th.
