Based on each team’s statistical profile, ball protection could play a significant role in this matchup. Indiana heads into the game with records of 47-32 straight up (SU) and 45-33 against the spread (ATS). Of the Pacers’ 78 games that accepted bets, 46 have finished under the total.

Meanwhile, Toronto owns records of 56-22 SU and 41-37 ATS. Contrary to Indiana, a little over half of Raptors games have finished over the total.

Both teams have had a player take their game to the next level over their last five games. Oladipo (25.2 points, 6.4 assists and 3.6 steals) has been fantastic for the Pacers while Ibaka (13.2 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.8 blocks) has made solid contributions to the Raptors.

The Raptors have won two out of three against the Pacers this season, including a seven-point victory the last time these teams met. Toronto covered as a 4-point favorite and the game finished with a total of 205 points, which was 7.5 points below the projected point total of 212.5 points. The Raptors made 24 of their 28 free throws (85.7 percent) and had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (43.9 vs. 22.0).
