IndyCar picks: Baseball legend Ernie Banks was known for saying “Let’s play two” and this weekend IndyCar fans will feel such excitement as Honda Indy Toronto will take place on Saturday and Sunday for a weekend doubleheader at Exhibition Place. The action can be seen on NBCSN on both Saturday and Sunday with a starting time of 3 PM ET. Scott Dixon swept last year’s doubleheader weekend at Toronto which was the first time that the two race weekend format was ever used there.
Exhibition Place
Exhibition Place held its first race in 1986 and has hosted a race each season with the exception of 2008 when the IndyCar Series went through reunification. The race course is a combination of asphalt and concrete and is 2.824 km (1.755 miles) in length with 11 turns and a seating capacity of 73,000.

Helio Castroneves leads the IndyCar standings with 471 points with Will Power in second place with 462 points. Ryan Hunter Reay is in third place with 439 points after last week’s win at Iowa and he is followed by Simon Pagenaud with 421, Juan Pablo Montoya with 405, Carlos Munoz at 358, Marco Andretti with 337, Scott Dixon with 331, Ryan Briscoe with 307, and Tony Kanaan with 305.
Top Drivers at Exhibition Place
Sebastian Bourdais is 12th in the current standings but may be moving up after this weekend as he has found Exhibition place much to his liking. Bourdais has a total of four career starts at Exhibition Place with an average start of 5.0 and an average finish of 6.2. Bourdais has two top five and three top ten finishes.
Marco Andretti has also been consistently strong at Exhibition Place with six career starts and an average starting position of 16.0 and an average finish of 8.2. Andretti has two top five and five top ten finishes in Toronto.
